Score Leads Outside of Your CRM

Ever wished you could score a list of leads before loading them into your CRM? Or wanted to figure out based on the list of attendees of an event if it was worth sending more reps?

This article will walk you through the steps to get predictive scores of all your leads directly within a CSV or Google Sheets. The predictions are based on MadKudu’s standard customer fit models.

You can score both people (with email addresses) or companies (with the domain name).

How-to (Bulk Scorer)

(1) Set up CSV with either Domains or Emails in the first column. Here's an example:

Note that any other format would not be accepted and would yield a failure to score.

(2) Log into your app and navigate to the Bulk Scorer. (Integrations > Bulk Scorer)

(3) Load in your CSV into the bulk scorer page.

(4) You will then receive an email with the scored CSV back after a few hours (depending on the volume). 🎉

How to (Google Sheets)

1. Installing the Add-On

  1. Go to the Google Spreadsheet that you want to use
  2. Click on Add-ons > Get add-ons > Search for and install MadKudu Sheets
  3. Click on Add-ons > MadKudu > Open

2. Signing in to the Add-On

If you don't already have a MadKudu account:

  1. Click on "Create an account"
  2. Go through the signup process
  3. Copy your API key
  4. Return to your sheet, and paste your API key

If you do already have a MadKudu account, but aren't logged in:

  1. Click on "I have an account"
  2. Log in to your account
  3. Copy your API key
  4. Return to your sheet, and paste your API key

If you do already have a MadKudu account, and are currently logged in:

  1. Click on "I have an account"
  2. Go to the MadKudu App
  3. Click on the "Integrations" section
  4. Click on the center block titled "Configure APIs"
  5. Click on the "API" block
  6. Copy your API key
  7. Return to your sheet, and paste your API key


MadKudu predicts whom you should talk to by scoring leads based on email addresses or domains through customer fit scores.

Scoring Email Addresses

  1. Select the email addresses that you would like to score
  2. Select “Persons”
  3. Click on “Predict”
  4. Predictions will appear next to the email addresses

Scoring Domains

  1. Select the domains that you would like to score
  2. Select “Companies”
  3. Click on “Predict”
  4. Predictions will appear next to the domains

Note

Selecting “Insert Headers” will add “customer_fit”, “customer_fit_score”, and "customer_fit_signals" as new column headers on your spreadsheet.
